those of you who have been following my blog for a while may remember this post about my obsession with abstract photography.  well... i'm still as obsessed as ever, so it was love at first sight when i stumbled upon j.kolo's flickr page last week.  

her photos are so stunning, they inspired me to dust off my camera and take it for a spin... something i hadn't done in a very long time.  it is almost impossible to pick favorites, but here are a few that stood out to me while i was clicking through her gorgeous photostream.

alix, also known as the cherry blossom girl, is my latest flickr inspiration.  she is a fashion designer with the most amazing style ever who lives in paris (which, as anyone who knows me will tell you is my favorite city in the world)... and she also happens to be an absolutely brilliant photographer.  every image in her photostream is just stunning, with soft lighting and gorgeous colors... i don't know how she does it!

jealous?  definitely.  but at least i can live vicariously through the lovely photographs she shares of her every day life, wardrobe, and travels.  don't miss the rest of alix's photostream here, and her blog (in french and english) here.

ann-d is one of my absolute favorite artists on flickr.  i could spend days just staring at the beautiful images from her daily sketchbooks.  she has so much incredible work, which makes it almost impossible for me to choose favorites... but here are just a few of many that caught my eye:

i was browsing on flickr yesterday, and i came across this group filled with pictures of artists' studios.  there is something very personal and revealing about the way each person chooses to arrange and photograph their workspace.
