mini goals chalkboards by marykate mcdevitt

these mini goals chalkboards by marykate mcdevitt are just about the cutest thing i've ever seen.  i think one of these would be a great motivator to hang in your office or studio.  and they're so pretty, they double as artwork!  found via poppytalk.

wine bag(uette)

i found this tote from dopetotes while searching etsy for a market bag to bring on my upcoming trip to paris.  is this not the most adorable, ingenius bag ever?  one side for wine, one side for a baguette... what more do you need?

margaret dorfman

remember this post about handmade paper made from fruits and vegetables?  well, i recently discovered an artist who takes it to the next level.

margaret dorfman makes functional objects - like jewelry and bowls - out of paper-thin slices of fruits and veggies coated with a clear coat of resin so that the colors and patterns are preserved forever.  how cool is that?

{canteloupe bowl}

{beet, starfruit, and zuchinni cuffs}

{star fruit and daikon radish bowl}

you can find some of margaret's pieces for sale at uncommon goods.
