what i'm watching . . . last leaf by ok go

ever since their ridiculously awesome treadmill choreography music video, i've been waiting to see what the band ok go would come up with next.

well, now the guys have a new video, but it's not exactly what i expected. instead, it's 2 minutes of amazing stop-motion animation created using images burned onto pieces of toast, set to a lullaby-like acoustic song called "last leaf".

sounds pretty weird, i know... but it's actually completely mesmerizing. give it a watch and tell me what you think!

what i'm listening to... heaven can wait

when i first heard that charlotte gainsbourg was working with beck on her latest album, i couldn't wait to hear what they would come up with. today i got my first glimpse at their collaboration with the brand new video for their duet heaven can wait, and i'm more excited than ever!

the video is bizarre and surreal (i wouldn't expect any less from either of these two), but the song is definitely a winner. i love how their voices sound together, and i just know i'm going to have this song stuck in my head all day...
