we make words is a collaboration between two friends named amy and luci. they take turns creating a visual portrayal of a word, photographing it, and posting it to the blog.

it's like a photographic word association game... a super fun idea, and it doesn't hurt that the images are gorgeous!

i love ampersands... in fact i have a sculpture of one on my mantle, which often elicits "and what?" questions from guests.
